Realme NARZO 90x 5G: Should You Buy This or Not?

Realme NARZO 90x 5G series of handsets under batteries-first and well-rounded performance phones offered by Realme in the highly competitive marketplace of India. This phone boasts some impressive specs like 7000mAh batteries, 60W fast charging capabilities, 144Hz displays, and 5G connectivity technology. This complete review will answer every question a consumer might consider before investing hard-earned cash into anything.

The ZV-E10 has a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
The power switch has a great click.

Budget & Value: Is realme NARZO 90x 5G Worth the Cost?

Realme NARZO 90x 5G starts somewhere in the ballpark of ₹13,000 to ₹16,000, depending on the model and the offer one can get. This pricing they have done–people expect to see in this price range a well-rounded device that would at least last for 2 to 3 years with few compromises. What makes this unique among those is that it emphasizes battery performance, fast charging, and display quality, rather than other gimmicks like some do.

It is not that you are paying more just for the badge of the realme brand. The hardware features of this phone, particularly the battery life and fast charging, are really impressive considering the pricing. Though some other phones may offer an AMOLED screen and somewhat improved cameras, it is hard to think of any other phone that can match this phone’s battery life and fast charging with a 90Hz screen.

Coming back to the value for money, if you’re somebody who is seeking stability and performance, this device is ideal. Provided your functionality is just social media, streaming, and calls, then the NARZO 90x is a great buy in the next 2-3 years.

Performance & Usage: Can It Handle Daily Tasks and Gaming?

In general, for normal usage, the realme NARZO 90x 5G is smooth and snappy: apps open quickly, while scrolling through them was seamless with an incredible 144Hz refresh rate. The realme NARZO 90x 5G comes fitted with the MediaTek Dimensity series 5G processor, which is known to feature in a lineup that emphasizes efficiency and smooth performance rather than raw, aggressive numbers.

Heavy applications, including Instagram, YouTube, Google Chrome, and productivity software, work absolutely fine. Casual to mid-range gaming like BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, or Asphalt runs fine on a medium level of settings. It is not a gaming smartphone, but it will perform just fine without heating up or dropping frames abruptly.

In terms of RAM and storage, 6GB of RAM would do the trick for the average consumer, but once you get into heavy multitasking or want your phone to be smooth after a very long period, you will have to look for one with 8GB of RAM. A total of 128GB of storage is enough too.

Battery & Charging: The Biggest Reason to Buy This Phone

The other remarkable strength of the realme NARZO 90x 5G would be its battery life. The 7000mAh battery in this mobile phone would serve a day and a half or two days comfortably. Even for power users who stream videos, browse on and on, and use the navigation system continuously, it is possible to have a full day’s usage without looking for a charger.

Being able to fast charge at 60W is just an added benefit to the fantastic experience that the handset provides. Considering that the handset comes with such a massive battery, it charges quite fast, somewhere above 50% in less than 35 minutes, thus removing charging stress. Wireless charging is not supported either.

Given the high storage capacity and good charging control, degradation of the battery should not be more than average. It should last up to 1 or even 2 years if used with care.

    Camera Quality: Practical, Not Professional

It has a 50MP Sony AI rear camera, and it generally clicks good pictures in bright surroundings. It clicks clear pictures in daylight, with good colors, which can be posted on social sites. AI capabilities help in enhancing the clarity of captured images.

Average would accurately describe the night and low-light performance of this camera, and this should be expected from this category. There can be some noise in the pixel and loss of details, but thankfully, night mode increases the brightness. The front cameras are good to go for picture and video calls, but not exactly ideal if one wants to make professional videos.

Video recording is quite usable, though far from ideal for anyone prioritizing 4K video recording and enhanced image stabilization. The camera setup should be perfectly capable without being a major selling point.

Display & Design: Smooth Experience, Not Premium

The realme NARZO 90x 5G sports a big LCD screen display, which makes it a little inconvenient to use the phone single-handedly when the size of the hand is small. A big screen is good for playing games or watching videos. Though it does not sport an AMOLED screen, the big 144Hz screen refresh rate makes scrolling extremely fluid and frictionless.

Visibility from outdoors is good, and the screen can be read under the glare of the sun, though it doesn’t come close to the best displays in terms of brightness. It feels a bit heavy, but its balance is adjusted by the huge battery.

Design-wise, the phone does look quite up-to-date and clean. The use of plastic casing makes it very evident that this phone comes in the budget category, but never in a way that could be called tacky.

Software & Updates: Clean Enough for Daily Users

It uses the Android 15 operating system as well as realme UI. The OS is feature-rich. A few applications come built into the device, but these can be turned off or uninstalled.

For software updates, realme is likely to offer 2 major updates of the Android operating system, aside from security updates. Performance after the update should be stable, as long as unnecessary applications are not installed on the phone.

Connectivity & Features: Covers All Essentials

Realme NARZO 90x 5G smartphone supports different signatures of the 5G band. As a result, it has been made future-proof within the Indian industry. While call-making functionality, it functioned correctly since its reception and connection capabilities were reliable.

The side fingerprint reader and facial unlock feature are fast and accurate, while it is disappointing to see that it does not have an audio headset socket, although the audio quality when paired via Bluetooth is good.

Build Quality & Durability: Made for Daily Life

It is a typical smartphone designed for everyday use, and it functions just fine. The water-resistant capabilities give it IP65 water-resistant capabilities, which can resist dust and splashes of water. Although this particular smartphone is resistant to drops, scratches, and damage from bumps, it is always recommended that it be equipped with a protective shield each time it is used.

Brand Trust & After-Sales in India

Realme has already provided its customers with an effective after-sales service network in the Indian market. The service points are distributed all over, and the hardware requirement of the smartphone can be accessed easily. This will be beneficial for all those customers who are buying smartphones on the basis of monetary criteria.

Buying Decision: Should You Buy It?

You may want to consider purchasing the realme NARZO 90x 5G when:

    • Battery life is your number one concern
    • You demand rapid charging capabilities and effortless everyday performance
    • A good phone is one that you can count on using for the long haul

You may want to look elsewhere if:

    • Image and video recording capabilities are the essential tasks you want the
    • Either an AMOLED display or an elegant design

The realme NARZO 90x 5G is an efficient and value-for-money smartphone, catering to people who are not bothered about features but, rather, battery life, smooth operation, and durability. It may not be an exciting purchase for camera aficionados, but it has everything an average user needs.

If the aim is to acquire a mobile that lasts long, delivers well, and saves the daily charge torture, this model is a good choice in its category.
